SPORTS & CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES |
The
college encourages all students to participate
in sports activities and physical training.
A dedicated physical trainer has been
appointed for the same. College sends
the promising students to the training
programs conducted by the specialized
training instructors at the SNDT University
campus.
Students also participate in camps,
hikes, sports seminars & workshops
organized by the University. Selected
students participate in sports events
conducted up to the district level.
The college organizes ‘Sports
Week’ every year when a whole
lot of events like Karate, Chess, Kho-Kho,
Rope Mallakhamb etc. are conducted.
Students are also encouraged to participate
in indoor games like Carom, Chess and
Table-tennis. Besides these, emphasis
is also given to Yoga and Martial Arts.

N.C.C. (National Cadet Corps) |
Students
of the college are encouraged to actively
participate in N.C.C and contribute
their best to the society and nation.
The National Cadet Corps conducts activities
such as Annual Training Camps, Rifle
Shooting Practice / Competitions, First-Aid
Training, Rope-climbing etc. In the
past years, a good number of students
have won accolades in these activities.

N.S.S. (NATIONAL SERVICE SCHEME): |
| The
prime objective of the college to
conduct N.S.S program is to make students
aware of various problems faced by
the society. It encourages them to
work in group so that they can fulfill
their duties faithfully, truthfully
and honestly. It conducts various
community development programs like
special camps, street plays, AIDS
awareness, fund collection, pulse
polio etc.

College Magazine: |
The college publishes an annual magazine,
which reflects the achievements, progress
and activities of various departments.
It contains articles on various topics
in all the four languages i.e. English,
Hindi, Marathi and Gujarati. Students
are encouraged to contribute articles
to the magazine.

Cultural Programs: |
In order to identify
the hidden talent among the students,
in the beginning of every academic year,
the college conducts a Talent Search
wherein students are encouraged to perform
on the stage. The talented students
are chosen and trained to participate
in various intra / inter College events
and competitions like ‘Youth Festival’
(Annual Inter Collegiate Competition
organized by SNDT University). Every
year the College also organizes ‘Ras
Phuhar’, a grand cultural show
of performing arts. |

| Industry
Visit |
The
college organizes industrial visits
to help students understand about
the practical aspects of production,
marketing, labour relations and other
activities managed by industrial sectors.
Industrial visits to factory units
of Provougue, Pantaloon, etc. were
arranged for students. The
college is actively working for
improving the knowledge of their
students by acquainting them with
fundamental concepts and organizing
seminars, workshop and guest lectures
by eminent banking and industrial
personalities.
We
also arrange regular competitions,
paper presentations, projects, assignments,
quiz, group discussion, management
games, field survey, posters, etc.
'Kala
Kaushal', Trade Fair is organized
by the college where students are
required to exhibit items made by
them like candles, handicrafts,
jewelry, embroidered cloths, show
pieces, soft toys, decorative articles,
etc. in our young budding women
entrepreneurs.

Students’
Council
To inculcate a sense of awareness and to build
up overall personality of the students, the
college duly constitutes a Students’
Council. The working committee consists of
the Principal, Teachers in charge of Sports,
NCC, NSS, Cultural Activities and students’
representatives. The tenure of the Students’
Council is one academic year.
Career
Guidance Placement Cell
The College has a Career Guidance and Placement
Cell which organizes various guest lectures
and counseling programs for the students.
Campus interviews are arranged for them
through which they get placements in reputed
banks and corporate sectors.
Counseling
Centre
The centre provides personal, academic and
career guidance to students. It organizes
workshops, seminars, talks and career counseling
programs. Individual and group counseling
is provided for dealing with issues related
to stress, exam, social adjustment and similar
issues.
Parent Teacher Association
For better parent teacher interaction the
college conducts meeting in each term. The
parents are informed of their ward’s
progress and strong / weak areas (if any).
Besides this, they are also informed about
the various efforts taken by the college
for the enrichment and advancement of students.
Any suggestions from the parent-side if
considered beneficial for the students and
College are also implemented.

Poor Students Fund |
Poor
Student Fund has been established with the
help of University Grants Commission. Each
year a good number of poor and needy students
are provided help in the form of College &
Examination Fees.

Railway Concessions |
| The
college provides railway concession forms
which when filled and submitted by the students
would entitle them Railway concession. |
| SCHOLARSHIP:

Management grants scholarships to the meritorious
students and those who are assessed to be
financially weak and cannot afford college
education. |
| PRIZES: |
| Special
prizes are given by the university for different
examinations. College also awards these special
students each year. Besides this, student
who secures highest marks in Hindi in B.A.
examination conducted by the university, Marwari
Sammelan award is given to the student by
the S.N.D.T: University. Students securing
highest marks in Sociology, Economics and
English literature are also awarded by the
college. |
